Specialist Hiking / Walking TripsA selection of trips across Scotland that allow you to really get to know a particular area. Kintail & Torridon Ridges (Grade 3)Departs Stirling 12.00 noon. Returns to Stirling 3pm. This week explores two of North West Scotland’s great mountain areas with some of the finest ridge walking available. We tackle a selection of the Torridonian giants including Liathach, Beinn Eighe and Beinn Alligin and explore the Five Sister’s of Kintail , and the South Glenshiel Ridge. Glen Spean Munros: OS Maps No 34,41,42 (Grade 3)Departs Stirling 2pm. Returns to Stirling 1pm. Based in the small village of Spean Bridge near Fort William we explore the central highland peaks including the Loch Lochy Munros, Laggan and popular Creag Megaidh. The Grey Corries ridge is also near by. If you want a weeks mountain walking in a peaceful area then this is a cracker. The walks are demanding but the rewards are worth the effort. Book Now!
Northern Munros: OS Maps 9, 10, 15 (Grade 3)Departs Stirling 12pm. Returns to Stirling 3pm. The peaks of the far north are wild, lonely and spectacular. On this trip we will be based in 2 locations to enable us to make ascents of Ben More Assynt, Conival, Ben Hope and Ben Klibreck plus a couple of other near Munros! Book Now!
Knoydart Munros: OS Maps 33, 40 (Grade 3)Departs Stirling 2pm. Returns to Stirling 4pm. After spending a night on the west coast we sail to Inverie and the remote peninsula of Knoydart. The Pier House proves good quality accommodation and fine home cooking. Fortified for the big three we will tackle Ladhar Bheinn, Luinne Bheinn and Beinn Bhuidhe. Book Now!
The Cairngorms: OS Maps 36, 43, 44 (Grade 3)Departs Stirling 2pm. Returns Stirling 12.00pm. Based in Aviemore & Braemar we explore a variety of the high tops in the Cairngorms and Lochnagar in Deeside. Big wild days in fantastic mountain settings! Book Now!
Assynt & Cape Wrath Explorer: OS Maps 9, 15 (Grade 2 - 3)Departs Stirling 12.00pm. Returns to Stirling 3pm. This new trip focuses on exploring the Assynt area of NW Scotland. The walks will include a selection of coastal walks and some of the spectacular hills of Assynt. The wild and lonely beach of Sandwood Bay and the Point of Stoer will be included along with the amazing mountains of Suilven and Quinag. There will be no Munros on this outing but a couple of the hill days do demand a reasonable level of fitness. The wildest part of Scotland has to be seen to be believed! Book Now!
